The DASH ULTRA-LITE despite being cheaper than the Featherweight, does not compromise comfort. It offers thicker seats, 2 types of suspension, and even an asjustable joystick. It is also more compact than the featherweight and the larger front and rear wheels allow it to tackle harsher terrain with ease. With a 5 year warranty on frame you can drive your Travel Buggy with peace of mind and you can also return it with no restocking fees if you change your mind.
The folding mechanism is the biggest differentiator, since the featherweight folds down the middle, the seat and back rest are not as comfortable as the DASH ULTRA-LITE. Smaller wheels may cause the ride to be bumpier and difficult to handle rougher terrain. It is important to consider the shorter warranty as well as tighter return policy. It also has a lower weight capacity than our DASH and lacks any suspension making it less versatile. The lack of public reviews makes validation harder as well.

Kind of Cool!Barbara N.,
We are back from Cape Breton and the travel buggy performed well. I used the buggy through Toronto airport and right up to the plane door.
The chair has allowed me freedom and independenceAlder C.,
I wanted the chair to give me mobility to go shopping, using the chair from my car, and taking the chair with me when flying. The chair meets all of these requirements and has allowed me freedom and independence.
The Travel Buggy is incredible!Rosie T.,
I have the City model and it’s AWESOME!! It truly is as lightweight, easily-compactible, and versatile as the website says! I’ve taken it all over Edmonton, and even took it onto hiking trails (some paved, some not) in Jasper!
It was local and amazingly affordableLee W.,
For long excursions such as the Edmonton Comic Expo, a regular wheelchair just couldn’t cut it with having to wheel myself or having someone else wheel me around. Just didn’t seem right.
Thanks again for your help!Ali I.,
I couldn’t get to class independently on a regular basis; I had to rely on friends to push me through the snow. This chair has helped a lot. Having the Travel Buggy means I can be a lot more independent, and takes away some of the stress of planning out my days to figure out who can help get me to class!
